Jerry “The King” Lawler: That’s right! Now fans will be able to see their favorite wrestlers on Tuesday Night Anarchy, and Friday Night Overdrive! And tonight will be Overdrive’s very first night on Friday Night! And what a show it will be.
Jim Ross: I’ll have to agree with you on that, King. First, we start off with Dominic Marzetti and Jack Jacobs. Marzetti has been looking for a way to fit back into the Net World Order, immediately going after Shane Douglas, giving him fourteen stitches in the head recently. It seems now that Dominic now has an eye for the Television Title of Jack Jacobs. If all goes well tonight for Dominic Marzetti, he might find himself with a Television Title shot soon.
Jerry “The King” Lawler: I’m going to be looking forward to Impure Authority and the New Age Outlaws in a tag team match. The Rebels of Institution have been dropped from this match due to the recent contract problems with The Baltimore Assassin. So Syzurz is stuck with two titles in his hands, and no possible way to defend them.
Jim Ross: And from what I’ve heard, Maxx Payne isn’t very happy with Syzurz for not getting The Baltimore Assassin to renew his contract. That can’t be anything good for the Mexican Pride, I can assure you that! But the main event will definitely be the showstopper. Shane Douglas and Gene Simmons will team up to face off their respective rivals, Triple H and Sean Ransom.
Jerry “The King” Lawler: Let me start off by saying that this is a ridiculous pairing! Maxx Payne knows that Gene Simmons and Shane Douglas want to have no part of each other, and Triple H and Sean Ransom have let it be known that they want to have no part of each other. Maxx Payne is just hoping to see these four men tear each other apart. I just know it!
[Lillian Garcia enters the ring to announce the first match. With a microphone in hand, she addresses the crowd.]
Lillian Garcia: The following match is set for one fall. Coming to the ring first, he hails from the country of Canada, he is the Net World Order Television Champion, he is Jack Jacobs!
[Jack Jacobs enters the ring to the sounds of “The Kings” by Run DMC, with his eyes wide open. He seems to be a little sleep deprived with the stubble of his beard growing a little bit thicker. He looks back and forth at the crowd, reacting to every jeer and boo from the crowd. He climbs into the ring, and awaits Dominic Marzetti to arrive.]
Jerry “The King” Lawler: Looks like Jack Jacobs is in that zone of his again. Dominic won’t stand a chance tonight, JR!
[“Man in the Box” by Alice in Chains begins to play, and Lillian Garcia introduces Dominic Marzetti to the Pepsi Arena’s crowd.]
Lillian Garcia: And his opponent, now coming to the ring, he is Dominic Marzetti!
[Dominic Marzetti’s music plays, and everyone, especially Jack Jacobs, anticipates his arrival. However, that arrival doesn’t come. The lights turn back on, and his music stops. Jack Jacobs, who was hunched over in eager anticipation, straightens his body up in confusion. Suddenly, the crowd begins to scream happily as Dominic Marzetti blazes through the crowd with a wrench in his hands, and slides into the ring. Jack Jacobs turns around just in time to see Marzetti swing the wrench, and ducks the blow. Jack Jacobs kicks Marzetti in the gut, and whips him to the ropes. Jacobs tries to clothesline Marzetti, but he ducks the attempt. Dominic Marzetti runs back, and stops by wrapping his arm around Jacobs’ chest. He lifts Jacobs into the air, and drops him with a Trip to the Island. Dominic Marzetti then climbs to the ropes while Jacobs is down, and jumps off to hit the Death Star. Just as Dominic Marzetti is about to nail it, Jacobs quickly rolls out of the way, and Dominic crashes hard on his neck. Jacobs quickly takes control by applying a neck crank, as Dominic Marzetti screams for help.]
Jim Ross: King, what an action packed match this is! Nobody can seem to gain a solid lead between the two.
Jerry “The King” Lawler: Maybe, but I have a feeling that Dominic just won’t be able to pass the speed limit tonight!
[Dominic grabs the rope after a while, but Jack Jacobs refuses to let go of the hold. The referee begins a five-count, threatening to disqualify Jack Jacobs. Jacobs lets go once the referee gets to four, and he begins to stomp away at Marzetti. Dominic struggles to his feet, as Jacobs delivers blow after blow to his head. Dominic suddenly blocks one of the punches, and begins throwing rights and lefts at Jacobs’ body. Jacobs can’t fight back from the attacks, as he backs up into the corner. Dominic intensifies his attacks in the corner, and delivers a variety of kicks, punches, and shoulder strikes to leave Jacobs battered and bruised. Finally, Dominic stops the intense attacks, and backs away to see Jacobs fall onto the mat face-first.]
Jim Ross: What a comeback from Dominic Marzetti. He sure is doing his grand-daddy proud, and at this rate, we just might see a Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood on December 31st!
[Dominic lifts Jacobs up, and throws him to the outside of the ring. Marzetti climbs to the outside, and lifts Jacobs once again. He whips him into the barrier, and Jacobs lands on it, and leans against it wearily. Dominic grabs a steel chair, and charges straight towards Jack Jacobs at full speed. With a loud THUD, Jacobs’ head is busted open from the attack, and he is knocked out cold.]
Jerry “The King” Lawler: JR, Dominic has gone nuts! He could have taken Jacobs’ head off right there.
[Just then, Degeneration-X members: X-Pac and Blade come from the back, and jump on Dominic Marzetti. X-Pac takes him to the ground with an X-Factor, and they stomp him down relentlessly. The referee, all the while, is counting to ten inside the ring.
1…
2…
3…
4…
5…
6… Jacobs starts to get to his feet, and is regaining his balance.
7… Jacobs stumbles around a bit, noticing that Dominic and him are getting counted out.
8… Jacobs runs to the ring as X-Pac and Blade hold Dominic Marzetti down.
9… Jacobs approaches the ring, and climbs onto the apron, until he feels the affects of the chair shots, and collapses back onto the ground.
10!]
Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, this match, by means of a double count-out, is declared a draw!
Jerry “The King” Lawler: A draw? Where does this leave the match between these two at Bad Blood? Is it going to be a Hell in a Cell or a Submission match?
Jim Ross: I don’t know, but it’ll take some quick thinking on Maxx Payne’s part to get this one straightened out! Coming up next, though, The New Age Outlaws take on Impure Authority in a hardcore tag team match!
Hardcore
Rules
Jerry Lawler: JR, I am excited about this up coming match!
Jim
Ross: Why is that?
Jerry
Lawler: Well, I just love to see people beat the crap out of eachother.
So a Hardcore TAG TEAM Match is like double the fun for me.
Jim
Ross: So you want to see The New Age Outlaws and former NWO Tag Team
Champions Impure Authority beat up eachother as badly as possible?
Jerry
Lawler: I am a fan of both teams, but I just love to see people get
hurt, and tonight I doubt it will get any better than this match!
Lillian Garica: The following tag team match is under Hardcore Rules and it
is set for one fall.
["Master of Puppets" begins to play. Triple X and The Undertaker make their
way out from the back. Triple X is pulling along a wheelbarrow full of
an assortment of weapons. Triple X leaves it at ringside as he and The
Undertaker get into the ring.]
Lillian Garica: Introducing first, they are already in the ring, Triple X
and The Undertaker, Impure Authority!!
["The
Kings" by Run-D.M.C. plays and The New Age Outlaws come out towards the
ring.]
Lillian Garica: And their opponents, The "Road Dogg" Jesse James and The
"Badd Ass" Billy Gunn, The New Age Outlaws!!
[The
NAO slowly get into the ring, with each keeping one eye on Impure
Authority and one eye on the weapons next to the ring. As soon as The
Outlaws are in the ring, Triple X pounces onto The Road Dogg and The
Undertaker goes after Billy Gunn. After a few blows, The Undertaker
clotheslines Gunn over the top rope and to the floor. As that is happening, The
Road Dogg takes control of Triple X.]
Jim
Ross: These four men are wasting now time in going right after one
another.
Jerry
Lawler: Yeah, and I hope they get to those weapons soon!
[The
Undertaker takes down Road Dogg for behind and now 'Taker and Triple X
punch and kick The Road Dogg until Road Dogg rolls out of the ring and
he regroups with Gunn on the outside.]
Jim
Ross: The Outlaws want to rethink their strategy for this match. So far
Impure Authority is in control.
[Road
Dogg and Billy Gunn reenter the ring. The Undertaker goes after Gunn
with another clothesline, but Gunn ducks the attack, and The Outlaws
nails The Undertaker with a double-team standing dropkick. As soon as they
get to their feet, Triple X runs at the NAO and takes them both down
with a double clothesline.]
Jim
Ross: First The New Age Outlaws showed their great team work but nailing
a double team dropkick onto The Undertaker, but Triple X just took both
of them down with a double clothesline.
Jerry
Lawler: That's great and all, but I want to see them use those
weapons.
[Triple X leaves the ring and goes to the weapons he brought with him to the
ring. He gets a kendo stick and he tosses it into the ring. He also
gets a steel chair and he goes back into the ring with that. As The Road
Dogg gets back to his feet, Triple X hits him in the gut with the chair.
Triple X now goes for a head shot, but Gunn gets up and he grabs the
chair from Triple X. Gunn swings the chair at XXX, but Triple X avoids it
and he knocks down Gunn with a big right hand. Triple X now picks up
the kendo stick he tossed into the ring.]
Jerry
Lawler: Here we go, this is what I have been waiting for! Triple X has
that kendo stick and he plans on hurting either of The Outlaws with
it!
[The
Undertaker sits up and he gets back up to his feet. The Undertaker
grabs The Road Dogg and he rolls him out of the ring and The Undertaker
follows The Road Dogg out there. Back in the ring, Billy Gunn gets up to
one knee. Before he can all the way up, Triple X smacks the kendo stick
across the top of Gunn's head.]
Jim
Ross: Ouch!
Jerry
Lawler: That's putting it mildly. All I know is that Billy Gunn will be
feeling the effects of that for days to come.
[The
Undertaker grabs Road Dogg by his neck, setting him up for a Chokeslam.
What happens to be right there is the wheelbarrow full of weapons. The
Undertaker lifts him up and he drops him into the barrow. The Road Dogg
lands hard. The Undertaker tips the barrow over. The weapons still
inside land onto The Road Dogg. The Undertaker puts one of his boots onto
of Road Dogg. The referee goes over there and he counts
1.....2.....3]
Lillian Garica: Here are your winners, Impure Authority!!
Jim
Ross: Well I guess both Outlaws will be feeling the effects of this
match for a while.
Jerry
Lawler: Yeah, as you would say, Road Dogg could be broken in half after
what The Undertaker just did to him.
Jerry “The King” Lawler: But what will happen with that match now that The Baltimore Assassin, Syzurz’ partner, has left the Net World Order?
Jim Ross: I don’t know King. What I do know is that the main event is right now, with Sean Ransom teaming up with Triple H to face Gene Simmons and Shane Douglas!
Lillian Garcia: And now for the main event! Introducing first, he is the number one contender to the United States Championship. He is Triple H’s tag team partner, Sean Ransom!
[“Bawitaba” by Kid Rock hits the loudspeakers, as Ransom emerges from the back. With a pair of shades over his eyes, he yells into the camera, “Never fear, yo daddy is here!” Just as he enters the ring, “My Time” hits, and the lights shut off for Triple H.]
Lillian Garcia: And his partner, he is a former three-time World Champion, and is the leader of Degeneration-X! He is Triple H!
[Triple H appears with a water bottle in his hands, and stops on the stage to look around. With Chyna by his side, he dumps the water onto his head, and walks down the aisleway. He enters the ring, and walks toward one side of it. Facing the crowd, he raises his arms in the air, and spits the water into the crowd.]
Lillian Garcia: And their opponents… introducing first, he is the Net World Order United States Champion. He is Gene Simmons!
[“When Worlds Collide” by Powerman 5000 begins playing, and a heavy smoke appears in the ring. By now, Triple H and Ransom are outside of the ring, waiting for their opponents to arrive. From the rafters, Gene Simmons is lowered into the ring, as the smoke disappears to show Gene on the top turnbuckle waiting for Shane Douglas to come.]
Lillian Garcia: And his partner, he is the Net World Order World Heavyweight Champion. He is Shane Douglas!
[“Perfect Strangers” by Deep Purple hits, as the fans begin a furious uproar of boos. For the second time in the show, though, the music plays, and Shane Douglas does not appear. Gene Simmons is furious, and is yelling at the stage for Douglas to come to the ring. Triple H and Sean Ransom take this opportunity to attack Gene Simmons from behind, and throw him to the mat. The bell rings, and Triple H lifts Gene Simmons up. He locks Gene’s arms back, and tells Ransom to attack him. Ransom does just that, delivering punch after punch to Gene Simmons. Suddenly, though, Gene Simmons squirms away, and Ransom cracks a punch across Triple H’s face. Triple H is furious, and pushes Sean Ransom back. The two men get into each others’ faces, as Gene Simmons tries to retain himself. Ransom pushes Triple H back, and Triple H quickly replies with a stiff punch to Ransom’s face, knocking Ransom down. Triple H exits the ring, and goes to his corner. Gene Simmons takes control, and elbowdrops Ransom twice.]
Jim Ross: This is what it’s going to be like soon enough when Maxx Payne gives Ransom his title shot!
Jerry “The King” Lawler: I don’t think Gene Simmons cares whether Shane Douglas shows up or not. He’s made it clear that he wants no friends in the Net World Order, and that means he has plenty of room to make some more enemies in Sean Ransom and Triple H.
[Gene Simmons picks Ransom up, and hits him with a sharp DDT. Ransom falls flat on his head, and bounces towards his corner. In desperation, Ransom tags in Triple H. Hunter charges into the ring at full speed, keeping his eyes squarely on Simmons. He charges at Simmons with full speed, and knocks him down with a clothesline. In frustration over the deal with the World Title, he climbs on top of Simmons, and begins punching his face over and over again. The referee tries to get Triple H to stop, but Hunter just shoves him back. When the referee becomes more insistant, Triple H gets up and punches the referee down. He turns back to Gene Simmons, but is knocked down when he sees Gene running at him with a cross body block.]
Jim Ross: What a comeback by Gene Simmons! Triple H didn’t even see it coming.
Jerry “The King “ Lawler: Sure, but Triple H is back up now, and he knows just what to go for, Gene Simmons’ back.
[Triple H whips Gene Simmons to the ropes, and kicks him in the stomach. He then prepares Gene for a suplex. He lifts Simmons in the air, holds him up for a while, and drops him down squarely on his back. Gene Simmons yells in pain, as a scar apparently reopened. Triple H rips at Gene’s shirt, and reveals the heavily bleeding scar. Triple H arrogantly steps on Gene’s back, and walks over him to tag in Sean Ransom.]
Jim Ross: Things are not looking good for Gene Simmons. Not only does he have to worry about two men who equally hate him, but now his weak spot has been exposed.
[Ransom comes in, and delivers a crushing elbowdrop to Simmons’ back. He mounts Simmons, and puts him in a Boston Crab, listening to his intense screaming. Simmons reaches for the ropes, but to no avail. Gene Simmons is facing Triple H in the corner, as he is trapped in the maneuver. Triple H taunts him for a little bit, until Gene Simmons spits at him. In anger, Triple H slaps Ransom’s arm, and enters the ring. The referee forces Ransom to release the hold, and orders him out of the ring. Meanwhile, Triple H lifts Gene Simmons to his feet, and kicks him in the gut to set up the pedigree. He hooks Gene Simmons’ arms, and plants him into the mat. Simmons’ body goes limp, but Ransom tags himself back in by slapping Triple H’s arm. Triple H has a pissed off look on his face as he is being forced out of the ring. Ransom throws Gene Simmons to the corner, and lifts him to the top turnbuckle for the Masterpiece. Suddenly, Shane Douglas appears from the crowd with a World Title in his hands. Shane climbs to the apron, and nails Ransom squarely between the eyes with the belt. Simmons, still out from the Pedigree, falls face first onto the mat, as Triple H goes after Shane Douglas. The two begin brawling, and Gene Simmons crawls on top of Sean Ransom for the 1… 2… 3!]
Jim Ross: Good Gawd! Gene Simmons just pinned the number one contender for his title, and Shane Douglas is battling it out with Triple H on the outside!
[The referee pulls Shane Douglas away as Triple H backs up the stage, pointing at and threatening Shane Douglas. Douglas just smirks, and enters the ring, where Gene Simmons is still laying on Sean Ransom. He lifts Gene Simmons off of Sean Ransom, picks Ransom up, and throws him out of the ring. He then goes over to Gene Simmons to talk about something. He lifts Simmons up, and balances him to an upright position. Suddenly, Douglas nails Simmons with the Pittsburgh Plunge, and leaves the ring to the sounds of “Perfect Strangers” by Deep Purple. Shane Douglas ascends up the ramp, raising his title in the air, as the show eventually comes to a close.]
