[The show opens in the famous Madison Square Garden in New York City. Footage from earlier in the day is shown, showing the entrance to Maxx Payne's office. As time passes by, a group of policemen gather around the door, and eventually enter after a moment to converse among one another. At his desk, Maxx Payne inquires what is going on in his office. Without a moment of hesitation, the officer in front of everyone else holds out a warrent, explaining that Maxx Payne is being arrested for the attempted murder of Eric Bischoff on November 30th, 2000. Maxx hesitates to leave with the policemen, but does so after thinking it through. Maxx Payne is led through the backstage area, and placed into a police car, where he is driven away from the arena, to a nearby jail. With that, the footage ends.]

Jim Ross: King, this happened earlier today, but I still don't know what to make of this. I mean, attempted murder of Eric Bischoff? I don't recall any murder attempts in late November!

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Your guess is as good as mine, JR. I haven't got the slightest idea.

[After the big pyro show to signal the beginning of the show, the camera angle goes down to Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler sitting at ringside getting ready to call all of tonight's action.]

Jim Ross - Welcome fans, to NWO's Friday Night Overdrive! We are sold-out here tonight in Madison Square Garden, where we have a five-star program for you tonight!

Jerry “The King” Lawler – You aren’t kidding, JR! Tonight, we’ll be seeing the last of the Hardcore and United States Titles, and on top of all that, a World Title match in our main event!

Jim Ross – That’s right, and of course you can’t forget the number one contendership to the tag titles between the Triple Threat and DX. And for that matter, the redebut of a former Net World Order Champion, Sto—

[Before JR can even finish the name, Stone Cold Steve Austin’s music hits over the loudspeakers. From the back, Austin begins to stride down the ring with a bitter look on his face. The thousands of fans in the arena look towards Austin, cheering wildly. Steve Austin slides into the ring, and begins going to all four ring posts, climbing them and flashing the bird to all of the fans.]

Jim Ross – Oh my God! Listen to the ovation for the rattlesnake here tonight! Thousands of fans on their feet for this man here in the ring!

Jerry “The King” Lawler – Steve Austin is overrated, plain and simple. He’s crude and vulgar. How can these fans be stupid enough to cheer for him?

~**SINGLES MATCH**~
“Stone Cold” Steve Austin vs. Johnny “Bad” Blood

Lillian Garcia – The following match up is set for one fall. Introducing first, he is the rattlesnake of the Net World Order, and a former World and Hardcore Champion, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin!

[Just then, Johnny Blood’s music hits. In a complete contrast to Steve Austin, the fans begin to deliver a flurry of boos to the newcomer. Johnny Blood ignores the fans, watching Steve Austin taunt him in the ring. Johnny Blood dives into the ring, and the bell rings as the two men size each other up.]

Lillian Garcia – And his opponent, he is the newest aspect of the Net World Order. He is Johnny “Bad” Blood!

Jim Ross - We’re under way with the first match of the night! And I have to ask, King, who is your favorite in this match tonight?

Jerry “The King” Lawler – Like I said before, Steve Austin is the most overrated man in wrestling today. I can’t wait to see Johnny take it to him!

Jim Ross – That remains to be seen.

Jerry “The King” Lawler – You just watch, JR. You’ll see.

[ Steve Austin took the advantage during the time they were talking, getting the best of a tie-up between the two. Steve Austin lifts Johnny up, only to get whipped to the ropes in retaliation. Johnny follows Austin to the ropes, and hits him in the midsection with a knee lift. Austin gets up quickly, but gets thrown back down to the mat with a hip-toss. Steve Austin jumps back up, and runs towards Blood again. However, just like the last two times, Austin finds himself flat on his back after being kicked in the face with a dropkick.]

Jim Ross – What a showing by Johnny Blood here tonight!

[ Johnny Blood picks up Austin and lifts him up for a brain buster, and connects with it. Johnny Blood runs to the ropes, and comes back with a devastating elbow to Stone Cold’s chest. He goes for the pin, 1…2 kick out! Johnny Blood and Steve Austin get up at the same time, as Austin ducks a clothesline from Blood. Austin turns Blood around, and kicks him in the gut. Austin turns around, grabbing Johnny’s neck for the stunner. Johnny escapes, though, pushing Steve Austin to the ropes. Steve Austin comes back, and jumps on top of Johnny with a Lou Thesz Press. While on top of Johnny Blood, Steve Austin begins unleashing a flurry of punches to his face.]

Jerry “The King” Lawler – Oh no! How did Austin manage to do that?

[Austin lets Blood up, only to try to send him back down with a suplex. Johnny Blood foils that plan, hooking his leg around Austin’s to avoid being lifted. Johnny Blood then lifts Austin off the ground, and sends him crashing down with a suplex. Johnny gets up, and legdrops Austin for extra measure. Johnny Blood lifts Steve Austin up, and goes for a belly to belly suplex. Austin reverses, though, spinning around, and delivering a Stunner in one full motion. Austin covers Johnny Blood, and the referee counts, 1…2…3!]

Lillian Garcia – The winner of this match by pinfall, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin!

Jim Ross – Oh my! What a match that was! And what a showing by the rattlesnake!

Jerry “The King” Lawler – Unbelievable, JR. Johnny had that match cinched for sure!

ROSS: Well, folks, let's head to the back, where our own Mean Gene Okerlund is once again standing by with the Triple Threat! Gene?

[In the back, Okerlund is standing by with the Triple Threat. Shane Douglas, Jeff Jarrett, and the Baltimore Assassin are all smiling as Okerlund begins to talk, but stops when he sees Francine holding three little baby pigs on a leash.]

OKERLUND: What in the world is that? Shane Douglas, why do you have those three piglets here in the building tonight?

DOUGLAS: Hey, Okerlund, far be it from me to say that I don't believe in helping out my enemies! So, when Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley's family was in town, Francine and I decided to show them a good time! You can see the family resemblance, can't you? [Close-up of the pigs]

OKERLUND: My goodness! Shane, it doesn't do any good to rile up your opponent tonight like that to making fun of his wife! That's a very serious matter, and...

DOUGLAS: Hey, lighten up, Francis! After all, we are in the city that never sleeps, and I can figure out why! The stench kept me up last night from the river, I didn't know the East River could carry that damn far! But, if my dear opponent has a problem with the way I make fun of him and his wife, make sure his next wife ain't a cow!

DOUGLAS: As for this match tonight, Hunter, I'm going to make it short and sweet, because I have better things to do than mess around with you! This World title enters the ring tonight with me, it leaves with me tonight! I'm sick and tired of you coming out here running your mouth talking about you're "The Game" this, "The Game" that, "The Game", "The Game", "The Game"! The only game that you'll be playing is crying into your beer after I'm done with your ass! That is, if you can cry after I put your ass into a sling!

DOUGLAS: Tonight, wrestling fans, I want to put to rest forever the grief that comes out of Helmsley's mouth time and again! He thinks I'm a fluke, I'm pathetic, and that I have no business having HIS title! This just in, Helmsley, and listen up because I'm only gonna say it once! You aren't the World champion anymore, I AM! You are not on top of the NWO, that honor belongs to my ass! The only thing you have to look forward to is the post-match buffet with Stephanie and Neil Styles! That is, if the two of them don't eat it all, there's actually a woman who can match fork for fork with Neil! (Laughs his head off)

DOUGLAS: It's party time, boys! Get ready, Hunter, your ass is about to be Franchised!

OKERLUND: Harsh words as always from you Shane Douglas... ok onto tonights tag team match and here beside me I got one half of that team, the self proclaimed "Mexican Champion" Jeff Jarrett! Tonight is the night Jeff, you could win tonights match to get your shot at being a two-time Net World Order tag team champion with the Baltimore Assassin, a title that took you a long time to grasp!

Jeff Jarrett: Gene, when you are a guy like me, who has held the World Championship, Intercontinental Championhship and the United States Championship all at once, all of that gold gets heavy you know! At the snap of my fingers I can have ANY god damn championship as I see fit in this company. Tonight TBA and I are setting the stage for yet another Tag Team championship title reign in the Net World Order!

OKERLUND: Well to accomplish that Jeff, you need to get through who many believe is the top tag team in the business today of Neil Stylez and Jack Jacobs! Jeff Jarrett: TOP TAG TEAM!?!?! Gimme a god damn break Gene, the only thing those two are champions of is their well respective spots on Triple H's right and left ass cheeks! First off in this synamic duo is the dud from Canada Mr. Jaquline Jacobs! Here is a guy who has NEVER wrestled in a REAL match in his entire life and when you are in the Net World Order, that REAL match is against "The Chosen One" Jeff Jarrett! Jacobs, like I stated earlier on NWO Live today, do yourself, your family and D-X a favor and just hide in the back locker room and cry yourself to sleep! Better yet, lock yourself in the D-X locker room and pray that Cerino and Sisqo dont find you!

Jeff Jarrett: As for good ol Nelly Stylez, I hope this peice of trash shows up tonight. He has got TWO things that belong to ME. First of being the #1 contendership to the Net World Order tag team championship, Second is the Net World Order Intercontinental Championship that he wears around his waist! Stylez, I never LOST that title and I think it is nearing the time in which that thing is going to come home to daddy! But enough about things you owe me because I do think I owe you a couple things.. A trip to your local hospital, utter humiliation infront of thousands of D-X reject fans and of course.. A FREE TRIP TO THE BUFFET LINE! Stylez, Jacobs, we plan on going in tonight WINNERS and leaving as WINNERS, so CHOKE ON THAT, SLAPNUTS!

[TBA pushes Mean Gene and he falls to the ground. The scene cuts back to ringside.]

~**HARDCORE TITLE MATCH**~
-Ladder Match-

The Rock vs. “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn

Lillian Garcia – This next match is a Hardcore Title Ladder match, for the honor of being known as the last Hardcore Champion! Introducing first, the challenger, he is a representative of DX… “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn!

[The fans erupt into boos as “The Kings” by Run DMC begins to play over the loudspeakers. Billy Gunn, flaunting down the ramp, turns around to the ring, and eyes the Hardcore Title hanging above the ring.]

Lillian Garcia – And his opponent, the current Net World Order Hardcore Champion, The Rock!

[From the state of booing into an arena filled with cheers, there is a clear difference in views of The Rock and Billy Gunn. The Rock heads down to the ring, and begins his attack on Billy Gunn on the outside of the ring. Going back and forth with punches, The Rock and Billy Gunn both clearly want the Hardcore Title badly.]

Jim Ross – Look at these two go at it, King! Knowing the determination of these two, this is going to be one Hell of a match!

Jerry “The King” Lawler – It looks like Billy Gunn wants it more, though, because he’s got the advantage now!

[Billy Gunn blocks a punch from The Rock, and rakes his eyes. Billy Gunn climbs into the ring, and grabs the ladder. He throws it over the ropes to where The Rock is laying, but The Rock manages to move out of the way just before the ladder comes crashing down.]

Jerry “The King” Lawler – Wow! Mr. Ass could have killed The Rock right there, JR!

[Billy Gunn climbs to the outside of the ring, but finds himself smacked in the face with the ladder, courtesy of The Rock. Billy Gunn collapses to the ground, and The Rock slides the ladder into the ring. He then picks Gunn up, and throws him into the ring, also. The Rock sets the ladder on top of Billy Gunn, and sets up for the People’s Elbow. The Rock bounces off of one rope, the other, and finally connects with the elbowdrop.]

Jim Ross – Good Gawd! A People’s Elbow with force, King! But it looks like The Rock did just as much damage to his arm there, King. You can see him favoring it, now.

[The Rock, despite his hurt arm, sets up the ladder underneath the hardcore title, and begins climbing. He ascends to the very top of the ladder, reaching as high as he can. However, the ladder is too short for The Rock to reach. Billy Gunn slowly gets to his feet, as The Rock jumps for his title. The Rock barely misses, and lands on his feet. However, he is knocked down immediately with a clothesline from Billy Gunn.]

Jerry “The King” Lawler – Hey, that ladder’s too small for these two guys to get the title! At this rate, nobody can win this match!

[Billy Gunn lifts The Rock up, and drops him down with a piledriver. Gunn then takes The Rock to the ropes, and ties him up in them to keep him immobilized. While The Rock is stuck with his arms locked in the ropes, Billy Gunn sets the ladder up into place, and begins climbing for the belt. However, Billy Gunn reaches the same problem that The Rock does, in that the ladder isn’t high enough to reach the belt. Suddenly, The Rock breaks loose from the ropes, and pushes the ladder over, sending Billy Gunn crashing down to the mat with force.]

Jim Ross – Oh my! And Billy Gunn just fell a long way with that one! Did you see that Mr. Ass bounce?

[The Rock continues an assault on Billy Gunn, stomping him down cockily. The Rock then goes to the ladder, and props it up on the top rope. The Rock lifts Gunn up, and whips him to the ropes. Rock catches Billy Gunn as he rebounds off the ropes, and spinebusters him onto the ladder. A loud snap is heard, as a large crack appears in the ladder.]

Jim Ross – My God! The force of Billy Gunn’s body just cracked that wooden ladder! It can’t be too safe to climb after that one!

[The Rock picks the ladder up, and props it over Billy Gunn’s body. Slowly, The Rock climbs the ladder, but doesn’t even make it halfway before the crack comes into affect, snapping a part of the ladder’s leg right off. The Rock loses his balance on the ladder, and lands face-first onto it, slicing him open.]

Jim Ross – It looks like things are starting to heat up, now, King!

Jerry “The King” Lawler – But how can this match end, now, without the ladder?

Jim Ross – I don’t know, King.

[Billy Gunn picks The Rock up, and suddenly finds himself in position to receive a Rock Bottom. Billy Gunn delivers a deliberate low-blow to The Rock, and bounces off the ropes to nail the Fame-Ass-er. Billy Gunn picks up the ladder, realizing that it has broken.]

Jim Ross – Billy Gunn had better act quickly, he doesn’t have much time before The Rock gets up!

[Billy Gunn sets the broken part of the ladder on the middle rope, and begins climbing up. He can’t quite reach the title, still, so he climbs back down to level ground. He then places the second leg of the ladder on top of The Rock’s chest, and climbs again. Billy Gunn, at the top of the ladder, reaches out as far as he can, still an impossible distance from the title. With one leap of faith, Billy Gunn dives off of the ladder, and snatches the title. Crashing down to the mat, Billy Gunn falls with the Hardcore Title over him.]

Jim Ross – That’s it! That’s it! This match is over with!

Lillian Garcia - The winner, and the last Net World Order Hardcore Champion… “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn!

[Billy Gunn drops the title in the middle of the ring, and leaves to the sounds of “The Kings”, satisfied in leaving The Rock laying in a heap.]

Jerry “The King” Lawler – What a win for DX, JR! Billy Gunn has just engraved his name into Net World Order history, and has become the final Hardcore Champion!

Jim Ross – And it looks like our next match will be the end of the United States Title as well, as Gene Simmons defends against Bob Holly! But first, I'm being told that Neil Stylez is in the back, and is ready to give a few words about his upcoming tag team match.

(The scene changes to the parking lot area of the arena. A black 2001 modified Viper comes squealing to a hault close to the door that leads to the locker room areas of the arena. The fans can be heard from out here. Their chants are nearly defeaning. Climbing out of the car is Neil Stylez. Stylez has on his normal wear which includes black baggy JNCO jeans, black Nike Airs, a gray Tommy Hilfiger muscle shirt, and black shades. He is carrying a heavily loaded black adidas satchel in his left hand and his right hand is clenched in a fist. Stylez takes off his sunglasses the moment he notices the camera man who is filming him. Stylez steps up to the camera man and begins to speak with a ton of emotion added to his words.)

Neil Stylez:Tonight is the night when DX takes one more step towards claiming some more gold. Yes, tonight Jack Jacobs and myself will step into the squared circle to do battle with the Baltimore Assassin and Jeff Jarret! This is the perfect opportunity for Jacobs and myself not only to get the number one contender spots, but to prove that we function together as an incredible tag team as well. To do this we must beat the living hell out of Assassin and Jarret. So before I pull my wrestling gear out of this satchel and make my last minute preparations, I would like to make a few comments towards my opponents.

Jeff Jarret, you were never a legend in the Net World Order. I was the first true legend and I am going to prove this to the world when I kick your ass from ring post to ring post tonight! Jarret, I see those tired doubtful eyes of yours. You are lacking that strong confidence which you usually always have with you. Your determination is slowly slipping away along with your wrestling spirit. You now notice that this match is nearly impossible for you to win. Why? Well, because of your worthless partner. Assassin has abandoned you. He isn't giving you any kind of support and he seems to have just given up. Without Assassin, your already slim chances of winning have decreased yet again. Now you will most definitely lose unless some magical miracle suddenly pops up which probably won't happen anyways. To put it plain and simple so that even you can understand...You're already beat! You can no longer win and you might as well throw in the towel while you still have your life. J! acobs and myself are two vicious blood thirsty indivuals and we will do whatever we possibly can to inflict bodily harm onto your body. You'll probably sustain terrible injuries...worse than those that you suffered from before when you had to leave the Net World Order. Yes Jeff, without Assassin backing you up...you'll fall prey to Jacobs and Stylez in less than a heartbeat. Jeff, you may lose your pride, but that is a lot less important than losing what you hold dearest...your life!

Jarret, you are vermin to this federation. You are the pollution and I am simply eliminating you. Maybe you'll realize that you do not belong in the NWO after I am through knocking some sense into your skull. Maybe you'll return to Mexico where you belong. A country filled with disgusting, fat, poor, and moronic people...just like you. A country that mainly doesn't use protection, just like you and TBA in bed. Yes, Mexico would welcome you back with open arms. Lets get to your butt buddy now.

Assassin, you haven't responded to any of my remarks lately. Where have you been? Are you lieing somewhere within the shadows shaking in your little booties. I bet you are. You see, ever since Assassin and I were boys, he's always feared me. Assassin was always the one to back off when I became serious in a fight. He knew what the consequences would be if he decided to mess with me. It looks like things haven't changed. The Baltimore Assassin is still the little pussy that he was when we were children. Well Assassin, if you do show up here tonight...let me tell you that I am prepared. I am prepared for your attacks. I am prepared for your mind games. My preparation will be perfect and so will the finishing touch to our match...Hellz Fury! I'll see you two in the ring."

(Neil Stylez pushes pass the camera man and enters the locker room area. The camera man shrugs.)

~**UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH**~
-Flaming Casket Match-

Gene Simmons vs. Bob Holly

Lillian Garcia - Tonight's next match is a Flaming Casket match and it is for the NWO United States Heavyweight Championship! On his way to the ring first, he is the challenger, weighing in at allegedly well over 500 pounds, Bob "Hardcore" Holly!

[Bob Holly slowly comes walking down the entrance way holding the US Heavyweight title belt, which belongs to Gene Simmons, over his left shoulder. Holly tosses the US title belt over the top rope and into the ring. Holly climbs on top of the casket that is pushed up right against the ring and raises his arms into the ring before climbing into the ring himself.]

Lillian Garcia - And his opponent, he is the NWO United States Heavyweight Champion and the leader of the AKI, Gene Simmons!

["Long Hard Road Out Of Hell" by Maralyn Manson begins playing as Gene Simmons slowly makes his way out f! rom the back with a pure look of anger in his eyes that are staring a hole right through Bob Holly. Simmons stops halfway to the ring and points back to the entrance area as Chyna comes walking out to be in the corner of her new man. As Chyna catches up to Simmons, the two walk towards the ring together. Chyna walks around the outside of the ring as Gene Simmons slides into the ring under the bottom rope, only to get stomped on by Holly]

Jim Ross - This is going to be an all out war King! These two men hate each other!

[Holly follows up on his attack by lifting Simmons high into the air with a vertical suplex. Holly swings a leg over the chest of Simmons and begins to lay in about seven hard punches right to the face of Gene Simmons.]

Jerry "The King" Lawler - Look at the force that Bob Holly is using with those punches JR! He means business tonight!

[Holly steps off Simmons only to head straight towards the turnbuckle. Holly climbs to the second turnbuckle where he leaps off going for an elbow drop. Simmons rolls out of the way just in the nick of time. Holly rolls around the ring grabbing his elbow and screaming out in pain. Simmons stares down at Holly and than rolls out of the ring and gets a steel chair from ring side.]

Jim Ross - Business is damn sure just about to pick up now King!

[Holly slides back into the ring with the steel chair and lifts it high above his head while stand above the still fallen Holly who is face down on the mat holding his elbow. Simmons starts to swing the chair down but it is jerked back like someone is stopping him from swinging it.]

Jerry "The King" Lawler - What's he waiting for?!?

[Simmons drops the chair behind him, grabs his head ! and screams out in pain. The fans stare at Simmons not knowing what to think of this strange out burst. Still holding his head, Simmons falls to his knees as Holly gets back to his feet. Holly grabs the chair from the ring mat and he shows no mersey on Gene Simmons slamming the steel chair down onto his back. Holly raises the chair back up and brings it crashing down on the back of Simmons again! Holly lays the chair down in the middle of the ring than brings Simmons back to his feet. Holly lifts Simmons high into the air and hits the HollyCaust onto the steel chair!]

Jim Ross - Oh my god King! That move could have broken the back of Gene Simmons!

[The fans are going wild after a high spot move like what Holly just performed as he slowly looks over towards the casket and an ear to ear grin comes across his face.]

Jerry "The King" Lawler - This could be it JR!! It looks like Bob Holly is going to try and put Gene Simmons into the casket!

[Holly walks over to the casket and opens both ends. Holly walks back over to Simmons and rolls his life less body across the ring and into the casket. Holly slams both ends of the casket shut and begins to look for the blow torch to set it ablaze.]

Jim Ross - This is it King! Bob Holly is about to set the casket on fire. With Gene Simmons inside!

[As Bob Holly's search for the blow torch takes him to the other side of the ring, the top of the casket slowly starts to open up.]

Jerry "The King" Lawler - Look at this JR! Bob Holly doesn't seem him but Gene Simmons has managed to crawl out of the casket and is waiting crouched by hind the ring steps and waiting to attack Bob Holly!

[By this time Holly has found the blow torch by the annou! nce table and is walking back towards the casket, which Simmons closed to make it look as if he was still in side. As Holly is about to walk around the ring steps, Simmons stands up and sends a flame of fire breath right into the face of Holly!]

Jim Ross - No! God no! Holly could be seriously injured King!

[The fans go wild for the fire breath from Simmons as Simmons himself looks to be in shock of what he has just done. Simmons soon gets over it and tosses Holly back into the ring. Simmons position Holly just right in front of the corner and climbs to the top rope.]

Jerry "The King" Lawler - Here it comes JR! Here comes the 450 splash from Gene Simmons!

[Simmons comes spinning off the top rope and hits the 450 splash perfectly onto Bob Holly. Simmons makes the cover only to be reminded by the official that he has to put Holly into the! casket and light it on fire to win the match. Simmons rolls Holly over into the casket and closes the lower body top of the casket. As Simmons trys to close the top of the casket, Holly holds it open with both hands. It becomes a test of strength with Bob Holly winning.]

Jim Ross - This match isn't over yet King! Bob Holly is still in this thing!

[Simmons hits Holly with two powerful right hands to the jaw that sends Holly back into the casket. Simmons quickly grabs the steel chair that was still in the ring and climbs up onto the ring apron outside of the ring. Simmons waits standing on the ring apron as Holly opens the top of the casket and begins to sit up. Simmons leaps off the to of the casket and smashes the steel chair down on top of the skull of Bob Holly!]

Jerry "The King" Lawler - Did you see that JR! What a chair shot by Gene Simmons!

Jim Ross - And Simmons is going for the blow torch! He's got it lit! He we go King!

[Simmons is just about to set the casket on fire, but he just can't touch the flame to the casket. He seems to be trying but something is holding him back. Simmons begins to scream out in pain again as he did before. This time, the screaming only lasts for a few seconds before he gets a look of pure evil in his eyes and sets the casket on fire!]

Jim Ross - That's it King! It's over!

Lillian Garcia - Ladies and gentlemen, your winner, and still Net World Order United States Heavyweight Champion, Gene Simmons!

[Gene Simmons holds his US Heavyweight title belt down to his side as he looks on in shock as NWO staff rush to the burning casket with fire extinguishers to put the casket out.]

Jim Ross: What an incredible match-up that was. Very fitting for the United States Championship's retirement, that's for sure!

~**NUMBER ONE CONTENDERSHIP TO THE TAG TITLES**~
Jeff Jarrett & The Baltimore Assassin vs. Jack Jacobs & Neil Stylez

Lillian Garcia - Tonight's next match is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the number one contendership to the NWO World Tag Team titles. Introducing first, the challengers, they are representatives of the Triple Threat. Hailing from Memphis, Tenessee and Baltimore, Maryland, respectively, they are the team of Jeff Jarrett and The Baltimore Assassin!

[Double J and The Baltimore Assassin waste no time getting into the ring, awaiting their shot at Degeneration-X.]

Lillian Garcia - And their opponents, representing Degeneration-X, the team of Jack Jacobs and Neil Stylez!

["The Kings" by Run DMC plays over the loudspeakers as Neil Stylez enters the ring and drops The Baltimore Assassin with a quick Gorilla Press Slam on the mat. The Baltimore Assassin is quick to get up, and retaliates with a right hand to the face. Neil Stylez and The Baltimore Assassin punch one another repeatedly, trying to make the other go down first. Suddenly, The Baltimore Assassin ducks a swing from Stylez, and sweeps his legs up from under him. The Baltimore Assassin tags in Jeff Jarrett. The Assassin executes an over the shoulder stomachbreaker on Neil Stylez before he leaves the ring, and Jeff Jarrett clotheslines Neil Stylez once he gets back up to his feet.]

Jerry “The King” Lawler - Neil Stylez is being torn apart by both The Chosen One and The Baltimore Assassin!

[Neil Stylez reaches to make the tag to Jack Jacobs. Jacobs quickly enters and clotheslines Jeff Jarrett. Jacobs begins going after Jarrett’s neck, applying a headlock while Jarrett is still on the ground. Jarrett climbs to his feet, using his height to escape the headlock.]

Jim Ross – Jack Jacobs is really trying to chip apart Jarrett here! But Jarrett is proving to be a little too much for Jack.

[Jarrett delivers The Stroke to Jacobs, and goes for the pin. The referee begins counting, 1…2… suddenly, Neil Stylez enters the ring to break the count, and pull Jacobs to their corner. Neil slaps Jacobs’ arm, and dashes into the ring towards Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett anticipates the attack with a drop-toe hold, but falls forward to the mat once he is dropkicked from behind by Jacobs. Neil Stylez gets up, and mounts Jarrett, applying a camel clutch. Jarrett reaches out to make a tag to The Baltimore Assassin as Assassin leans over the ropes to touch his partner’s hand. Jack Jacobs runs into the ring to go after The Baltimore Assassin before he can be tagged in, but is held off by the referee. While the referee has his back turned, Jeff Jarrett tags The Baltimore Assassin, and Assassin clotheslines Neil Stylez back. The referee turns around to see Assassin in the ring, and begins ordering him back to the corner, insisting that no tag was made. Jarrett begins arguing the decision, as Neil Stylez creeps up behind him to roll him up. The referee begins counting, 1…2…NO! Jeff Jarrett kicks out, and immediately tags in The Baltimore Assassin. The Baltimore Assassin and Neil Stylez lock up, until The Assassin gains control by pushing him into the corner. Neil Stylez tags Jack Jacobs in, unknowingly to The Baltimore Assassin. Jack Jacobs ascends to the top turnbuckle, and gets ready to launch an attack on The Assassin. The Baltimore Assassin sees this, though, and bounces off the ropes, causing Jacobs to lose his balance. As Jacobs falls forward, The Baltimore Assassin lifts him up and sets him up for the Peace-maker. Neil Stylez tries to stop Assassin, but is cut off by Jeff Jarrett. Assassin lifts Jacobs up, and drops him down for the Peace-maker, and covers him to get 1…2…3!]

Lillian Garcia - The winners of this match, and the new number one contenders to the tag team championships, the team of The Baltimore Assassin and Jeff Jarrett!

Jim Ross – Good Gawd! What a finish! Impure Authority had better be on the lookout, because the Triple Threat has struck again!

Jerry “The King” Lawler – And that’s got to be a foreshadowing of the main event, where Degeneration-X leader, Triple H, goes up against Triple Threat leader, Shane Douglas, for the World Title! But we've heard from the Triple Threat already. Now I'm being told that we'll be getting a few words from Triple H himself. Kevin Kelly is standing by.

[The scene begins backstage outside of the DeGeneration X locker room. Standing in front of the locker room door are two people. One is NWO Interviewer Kevin Kelly. The other, is "The Game" Hunter Hearst Helmsley. As soon as Kevin Kelly gets the go signal he begins the interview.]

Kevin Kelly - Fans, I am standing here with the man who has the chance to become the NWO World Heavyweight Champion for a fourth time in just a matter of minutes. That man, is "The Game" Triple H. Now Hunter, how are you feeling about you match against "The Franchise" Shane Douglas now that you are just about ten minutes away from what could end up being the biggest match of your career?

"The Game" Triple H - Kelly, I'm feeling great! But how could I not be? As you just said, I am just about ten minutes away from taking on Shane Douglas for the Net World Order Championship. This is! what I have been waiting for since I made my return to the NWO. A one on one shot at becoming the World Heavyweight Champion for a fourth time. And while Shane Douglas in back in the locker room of the Triple Threat right now, watching this interview, feeling his stomach twist into knots because the reality of it all has just set in, I am feeling better than I ever have before.

Kevin Kelly - Triple H, you have shown that you are not lacking for confidense. However, Shane Douglas is not lacking in that department either.

"The Game" Triple H - That is where you are wrong Kevin Kelly. Shane Douglas can make it look as if he is so sure that he has enough talent to take me on, one on one, but he doesn't fool me. Maybe, at one time, Douglas himself believed that he had what it takes to beat me in a one on one match. Maybe his win at the Bad Blood pay per view a while back made him thin! k that. But after I brought to his attention that his win at Bad Blood ment nothing because about three hundred other people got involved, it was not a one on one match. But this time, it will be a one on one match. "The Game" Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs "The Franchsie" Shane Douglas.

So there you have it Kelly. Shane Douglas had it burned into his mind that one on one, he could beat me. But now, all I have done is remind him that he can't. So if you were to go into his locker room right now, you would find him face down in the toilet, puking his guts up because he knows, that he is in for one hell of a long night!

Kevin Kelly - Earlier tonight, you said that the NWO World Heavyweight Championship was your life. I for one, find that hard to believe and think that you are just making an attempt at getting under the skin of "The Franchsie" Shane Douglas.

"The Game" Triple H - ! You don't beleive that nothing means as much to me as the World Heavyweight Championship? Then just what in the hell do you want me to do to prove it? Kill Douglas in the ring tonight? Fine. That belt means everything to me Kevin Kelly and I am willing to do everything to get it back. Even kill.

[Triple H ends his interview with Kevin Kelly by walking away in the direction of the entrance way.]

Kevin Kelly - Well there you have it fans. Hunter Hearst Helmsley says that he is willing to kill to get back the Net World Order Championship. Still, I don't think he stands a chance. JR, King, back to you!

~**WORLD TITLE MATCH**~
Shane Douglas vs. Triple H

Jim Ross - Fans we’re here in Madison Square Garden, just seconds from our main event!

Jerry “The King” Lawler – JR, I admit that Triple H looks more anxious than ever to take Shane Douglas down for that World Title tonight, but he is just not The Franchise!

Jim Ross – King, Franchise or not, Triple H may very well be leaving the Garden tonight with the World Championship around his waist!

Lillian Garcia - Ladies and Gentlemen, coming to the ring first… he stands 6'4 and weighs in at 260 pounds. From Greenwich, Connecticut, He is “The Game”, Triple H!

[“My Time” hits the speakers and the fans fill the arena with boos. Triple H comes out from the back dressed in Black wrestling shorts that have "hHh" wrote in silver on the front and "HhH" in silver on the back. Triple H's intro video plays on the NWO-Tron and he makes his way to the ring. Triple H gets in the ring and glares towards the entrance ramp awaiting his opponent, “The Franchise” Shane Douglas.]

Lillian Garcia - And his opponent, he stands 6’1” and weighs in at 248 pounds. He is the Net World Order World Champion. Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he is “The Franchise” Shane Douglas!

Jim Ross – And here comes the champ. This guy makes me sick. Though I’m no fan of Triple H, Shane Douglas has taken his jokes out of the limit!

Jerry “The King” Lawler – Are you kidding? It just shows that Shane Douglas is ready for Triple H any time, anywhere.

[“Perfect Strangers” by Deep Purple hits the PA, and the fans stand, jeering The Franchise. Finally, Shane Douglas appears from the back, wearing a pair of yellow and black wrestling trunks, sporting off his new Triple Threat t-shirt.]

Jerry “The King” Lawler – I just don’t see why Douglas has to defend against Triple H again. He’s already proven time and time again that he can beat him any day of the week!

Jim Ross – Well, Triple H has been arguing that he lost the match because of the distraction from Gene Simmons. This is going to be his first chance in a long time to get his hands on Shane in singles competition.

[Shane Douglas rushes to the ring and slides under the bottom rope. Hunter begins to lay the boots to Shane dropping him down. Shane tries to pop back up immediately, against Triple H’s stomping. Triple H helps him to his feet and drills Shane in the face, with one right hand after another. Triple H whips Douglas into the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Douglas ducks, turns around sharply, and puts a right hand right into the face of Triple H, rocking him back. Shane Douglas lands another, then another, and then pushes Hunter into the corner turnbuckle. Douglas climbs the middle ropes and begins to hammer Triple H with more right fists. He gets in about 3 punches before Triple H hooks his legs and lifts Douglas up with incredible strength. Hunter holds Shane Douglas up for a bit, then drives him down with a massive Manhattan Drop.]

Jim Ross – Oh my! Douglas will definitely be feeling that one tomorrow morning!

Jerry “The King” Lawler – But Triple H isn’t done there. He’s coming off the ropes and… kneedrop! This might be it… 1…2…NO!

[Hunter gets in the referee's face demanding the three, giving time for Douglas to come to his feet. Hunter turns around, not expecting Shane Douglas to be up so quickly, and The Franchise nails him with a kick to the gut and a DDT. Triple H is quick to get on his feet, and Shane Douglas keeps going at him with rights to the face and gut. Triple H cuts him off with a rake to the eyes, followed by a whip into the rope! Douglas comes back, and Hunter nails him with a huge knee-lift. Hunter looks out at the fans but they give him nothing more than trash thrown at him.]

Jerry “The King” Lawler – Triple H is really having a good showing, tonight! He obviously has his thoughts set entirely on taking that title from Douglas’ waist here tonight!

Jim Ross – I’ll definitely have to agree with you there. Triple H is hell-bent on gaining that fourth World Title reign!

[Shane Douglas gets up, and delivers a quick clothesline to Triple H to the outside. Shane Douglas follows Triple H to the outside, and whips him into the steep steps as Hunter hits hard! Shane Douglas grabs a chair from ringside and waits for Hunter to stand up. Douglas turns around right when Hunter nails him across the forehead in the chair! The fans are going crazy now, and Douglas slides Triple H back into the ring. Douglas follows again and this time brings in the chair. He clobbers Hunter again with the chair, then sets the chair on his fallen body. Douglas goes up the turnbuckle and this time from the top. Hunter pops up suddenly and hits the ropes causing Douglas to spread-eagle on the top rope! Triple H grabs the chair and smacks Douglas with it right on the forehead, sending him out and over to the outer ring area.]

Jerry “The King” Lawler - Dear God, JR, did you see that? Douglas just got the hell knocked out of him, in it is all because of a little possum playing from Triple H! I guess that’s why they call him The Game!

Jim Ross – But it looks like Douglas really took that shot badly. His bleach-blonde hair is becoming a crimson red by the second!

[Triple H gets up, pissed off as he nails Douglas with a side-Russian leg sweep on the outside. He picks up Douglas and gives him a few kidney punches, then drops him to the ground. Shane Douglas gets up rather quickly, and enters the ring, ordering Triple H in as well. Triple H climbs in and hits the ropes, going for a big elbow but Douglas moves out of the way! Both men get up at the same time but Shane Douglas gets up with the advantage, and lifts Triple H nailing him with a piledriver. Douglas follows by applying the figure four to Triple H in the center of the ring. Hunter fights the hold, but cannot get to the rope because they are in the center of the ring.]

Jim Ross – Douglas is doing just what he needs to do to hang on, here. He’s slowing this match down, wearing Triple H down by the second!

Jerry “The King” Lawler – It looks like it’s working, as Triple H is trying to reach those ropes in vain!

[Triple H begins punching hi way out of the hold, as Shane Douglas lets go. Douglas is the first to get to his feet, since Triple H is obviously having some trouble. Douglas begins focusing on Triple H’s knees, as he stomps down on them as much as possible.]

Jim Ross – This might just be the factor that Douglas needed for this match, King. As long as Shane can keep focusing his attention on Triple H’s legs, this match is as good as over!

Jerry “The King” Lawler – Don’t be too sure, JR! Triple H is fighting back, now.

Jim Ross – And look at these two athletes go at it, folks! Shane Douglas’ face is a deep red hue with all the blood from that chair shot, yet they’re still battling it out as if it were the beginning of the match!

[Douglas suddenly blocks one of Triple H’s punches, and backs up to nail Triple H with a running lariat! Douglas picks Triple H up to his feet again, and punches him in the gut. He whips Triple H into the corner, then picks him up to the top turnbuckle! Douglas grabs on to Hunter’s trunks and lifts him up into a Superplex! Douglas snaps over into a cover, 1...2...NO! Another huge kick-out by Triple H. Shane Douglas picks up Triple H going for the offensive again, and attempts another vertical suplex. But this time Triple H avoids the move, kicking Shane in the gut to nail the Pedigree instead.]

Jerry “The King” Lawler – That’s it! New Champion! New Champion! 1...2...NO! How did he…?

Jim Ross – I have no idea, King! But Douglas is somehow getting back up to his feet!!

Jerry “The King” Lawler – But Triple H has another Pedigree, and he… hits it! The cover, and 1…2…3!

Jim Ross – Good Gawd! Triple H has just won his fourth World Title! I don’t believe it! Triple H has finally put an end to Shane Douglas’ streak!

Lillian Garcia - The winner of this bout, and the NEW Net World Order Heavyweight Champion, Triple H!

Jim Ross - I got to say King, that is a match for the record books! Shane Douglas can’t be too happy that he just lost his World Title, that’s for sure!

Jerry “The King” Lawler – After all that work, Triple H has finally gotten his title back!

[As the show goes off the air, Triple H is shown ascending the ramp to the sounds of “My Time”, raising the World Championship over his head..]
